We understand the need to support our value chain partners by providing more meaningful opportunities and ensuring they embrace our values as their own. All our bottling, ingredient and packaging suppliers need to adhere to our strict Supplier Guiding Principles (SGP) but we expand our horizon beyond our immediate suppliers to ensure positive impact in the lives of farmers, street vendors and retailers.

We continuously strive to empower our smallholder sugarcane farmers partners with the agricultural knowledge, water consciousness and technological know-how they need to succeed. Meetha Sona Unnati started in 2016 is our leading initiative in this direction. The project implemented in partnership with DCM Shriram, Solidaridad and International Finance Corporation has been delivering positive results as it enters its third year.

Parivartan focuses on equipping traditional retailers with skills, tools and techniques to sustain and evolve in the dynamic and competitive retail space. Aligned to Government’s vision of Skill India, in the last decade, ‘Parivartan’ has benefited 3.75 lakh small and unorganized retailers including 50,000+ women.

In alignment with the ‘Clean Street Food Program’ of Food Safety Authority of India (FSSAI), Coca-Cola India, launched the ‘Kinley Parivartan Food, Safety and Hygiene’ program in March 2017, which provides trainings and certifies small vendors on vital aspects of food safety, water hygiene, handling, storage, safety of food and waste management. The training programs are conducted by FSSAI approved trainers and certificates awarded to the trainees. We have also developed a training module on digital payments in collaboration with State Bank of India (SBI) and this module is a part of the Parivartan program thereby contributing to “Digital India” Initiative. Through this module food vendors and retailers are made aware of Digital wallets, UPI and related payment processes etc. to encourage them to be a part of the growing digital economy of India.
