Anuj Pal G Goswami of Udaipur, Rajasthan became the first civilian solo bike rider to reach the farthest Indo-Pak crossing bridge situated at Tithwal in Kupwara district of Jammu & Kashmir on March 18, 2015. Riding a Royal Enfield TB 500, called Chetak, he started the challenging expedition from Gurgaon, Haryana on Feb 28, 2015 and returned on March 26, 2015, having covered 2,430 km in 27 days. During the journey along the tough terrains, he remained snow-locked for 11 days encountering 20 ft snow and temperatures below –20oC.
