Playing cards

Aditi Shailesh Agarwal (b July 27, 1979) of Ahmedabad, Gujarat has 6,000 sets of Indian and foreign playing cards, the largest such collection, which she started at 15 years. She has a large room exclusively for her card collection. The collection varies in theme, form, size, shape and material. Aditi has a playing card set which was used for a code word during World War I and a celebrity collection on Lady Diana, George Bush, Nelson Mandela and Bollywood stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Madhuri Dixit and others. In one Mumbai exhibition, she bought a pair of silver and gold-plated set for Rs 4,000. She also has a large collection of playing card collectibles like tie, paper napkin, shirt, nail cutter, wrist watch, pen, fan, even a printed bed cover!
