Aishah Mohamed Rashoud (b July 1, 1908) came to Dr Nikita Trehan with procidentia, prolapse of uterus, bladder and rectum. This had impacted her quality of life and she was in great pain. She could not go walk or go to the toilet independently. She was suffering from dementia with hypertension, diabetes mellitus and dilated cardiomyopathy.
The procedure performed by Dr Trehan was vaginal hysterectomy, cystocele, rectocele, enetercele, extremely hypertrophied vagina and bladder tissue under spinal and epidural anesthesia instead of GA and this procedure lasted for 90 minutes at International Modern Hospital, Dubai, UAE on June 13, 2015.
