Miniature shoes

Wilson Fernandez (b Jan 1, 1964), an NRI based in Dandenong, Victoria, Australia has a miniature shoe collection, a hobby started in 2005 with Kolhapuri chappals. He has displayed the shoes artistically in a floral art format on a wall. The biggest is 18.5 cm and smallest 0.25 cm. By June 2015, he had 1,016 shoes in all shapes, forms, patterns and designs representing the countries they were collected from. He has Ugg boots, Dutch Klomps, Japanese Geta, Korean Hwahye, Turkish Sabahs, Converse shoes, Santa’s Shoes and many more. The shoe material varies from leather, vinyl, fabric, plastic, straw, wood, ceramic, clay and rubber to metals with precious stones and gems.
