Sanjay Madan and Tushar Agarwal of New Delhi set out on a world tour titled ‘The Great Indian World Trip’ in a Toyota Fortuner starting from India Gate, Delhi on Sept 22, 2013. Organised by Adventures Overland, Gurgaon, the expedition covered 90,151 km across 50 countries on six continents in 453 days and returned to Delhi on Dec 18, 2014, making it the longest drive across most countries. On its way the expedition also set a number of other records.
Longest journey in a foreign country: Sanjay and Tushar travelled 17,107 km in Australia in 28 days from Nov 25 - Dec 22, 2013.
Longest journey in South America: The duo covered 16,159 km across six countries (Argentina, Chile, Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador and Colombia) in 75 days from May 18 - July 31, 2014. 
Longest journey in North America: The expedition passed through nine central and north American countries (Panama, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras, El Salvador, Guatemala, Mexico, USA and Canada) covering 25,621 km in 41 days from August 8 - Sept 17, 2014. 
First south-north journey across American continents: It involved a 27,382 km drive from the world’s southernmost city, Ushuaia in Argentina to the northern most city, Dead Horse in Alaska, USA in 102 days from May 21 - August 30, 2014. 
Most European countries covered: Starting from London, UK on Oct 18, 2014, the team travelled 11,197 km across 22 European countries in 21 days, reaching Istanbul, Turkey on Nov 7, 2014.
