Suresh Joseph (b May 14, 1958) of Kochi, Kerala became the first person to successfully undertake a solo four-wheeler expedition, covering 21,635 km across eight Southeast Asian countries in a Ford Endeavour in 77 days. Starting from Kochi on Feb 28, 2015, he reached Singapore via India, Myanmar - Thailand - Laos - Vietnam - Cambodia - Malaysia and returned to Kochi on May 15, 2015. He completed the onward journey up to Singapore on April 14, 2015 covering 12,482 km in 46 days while the return journey covered 9,153 km in 26 days.
