Rahul Dravid has been involved in three-figure partnerships on 88 ocassions; thrice for the first wicket, 34 times for the second, 26 times for the third, eight times for the fourth, 12 times for the fifth, thrice for the sixth and twice for the eighth wicket. He partnered with Sachin Tendulkar in 100-plus stands in a world record 20 times and then with V.V.S Laxman 12 times. His highest stand was with Virender Sehwag, when they partnered in a 410-run stand against Pakistan at Lahore in 2006. Dravid and Tendulkar have added 6,920 partnership runs, the most by any pair in the history of the game.
