Dr Darla Nageswara Rao, a replica artist who works at the Government Central Press, Hyderabad, created an artwork titled Unity of Nation, using 6,00,600 ball pins that were embedded on a 4.5 cm thick thermocol board of 89 x 120 cm. He started it on Jan 26, 2014 and completed on March 11, 2015. This was then painted with the colours of the Indian National Flag. Unity in diversity was highlighted by embossing the holy books and emblems of different religions with ‘Bhagvan’ crafted in Hindi, ‘Jesus’ in English and ‘Allah’ in Urdu.
