Ravindran Mudavan Valappil (b May 17, 1963), a museum curator cum photographic assistant at The Academy of Medical Sciences, Pariyaram, Kannur district, Kerala created a sculpture of the anatomy of the human heart, 16 ft high mounted on a pedestal of 14 ft, using reinforced cement concrete over nine months. The purpose was to ring awareness to people about the human heart that works restlessly round the clock from birth to death and hence take care of it.
