Michelle Kakade (b 9 October 1968), a long distance runner from Pune, Maharashtra, became the first person to cover the Golden Quadrilateral (GQ) on foot. The Golden Quadrilateral is a highway network connecting the four metro cities – Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata and Chennai. She covered 5,968.4 km in 193 days, 1 hr and 9 min from 21 October 2015 to 1 May 2016.
