Opened on 7 December 2013, the Heritage Transport Museum at Tauru, Gurugram, Haryana, houses a rich collection of 2,500 objects, including howdahs, bullock carts, palanquins, a 1924 Ford, vintage scooters, a 1946 Piper aircraft, transport toys from the 1920s to the present, and associated artefacts. The museum brings alive the history and evolution of transport heritage in India and the sociocultural life associated with it.
