Urination-Device.jpg

PeeBuddy is India’s first female urination device, by which women can stand and urinate in all dirty and common toilets. Launched in 2014, the design patent was received as a team for Deep Bajaj (b May 2, 1983), Rahul Anand and Mohit Bajaj of Delhi in February 2015. Priced at Rs 120, it is portable, disposable and easy to carry since it is made from cardboard. A product designed to empower women and support sanitation, 20,000 packs were sold last year. Used during the Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon and the TCS Bengaluru Marathon, it was given free to all female participants (as porta toilets cannot be kept clean for long).
