HCCB has no plans to extract ground water at any stage for any use in the operations at Perundarai and intends to take water from SIPCOT to meet the industrial water requirement. No treated waste water shall be discharged outside the Plant premises and the excess water shall be utilized for “Onland for Irrigation” within the premises.
HCCBPL on December 11, 2014 participated in stakeholder meetings held at Perundurai clarifying all concerns. A detailed response was also submitted by HCCBPL to the District Collector of Erode to give the factual position on the ground.
