Reaffirming its commitment towards Water Stewardship and Water Management, Hindustan
Dr. Manmohan Singh, IAS, Vice Chancellor of Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University & Principal Secretary – Animal Husbandry, Dairy Development and Fisheries Dept, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh dedicated the project in the presence of Prof. T. S. Chandrasekhara Rao, Dean, Faculty of Veterinary Science, Prof. P. Sudhakara Reddy, registrar, Prof. D.Sreenivasulu, Associate Dean, Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University, Dr. N.P. Eswara Reddy, Associate Dean, Sri Venkateswara Agricultural College, Acharya N.G Ranga Agricultural University Hyderabad, and Senior executives from Hindustan
NGO partner ROPE (Rural Organization for Poverty Eradication), has implemented the project.

“In Andhra Pradesh, over the years, under the water stewardship initiatives, various water replenishment projects have been undertaken with an aim towards replenishing ground water and this is yet another in the same direction’, he further added.
