Celebrated its 25th year anniversary; Leadership team marks the anniversary by engaging with retailers in the city
Agra, December 12, 2018: Coca-Cola India, a leading beverage company that offers a range of beverage choices to consumers, today celebrated its 25th year anniversary in Agra. In 1993, Coca-Cola re-entered the country and commenced its operations with the plant located near Agra.
To mark this joyous occasion, Coca-Cola India undertook a MIT (Market Impact Training) drive, wherein the leadership team joined the sales teams to drive placement and visibility of Coca-Cola’s wide product portfolio in key markets. The team interacted with retailers and placed newly launched products including Minute Maid range and sparkling beverages in the retail outlets.
Since last year, both globally and in India, the Coca-Cola Company has strengthened its commitment to Beverage for Life by aligning itself to the Total Beverage Company vision of building an increasingly diverse portfolio of brands. Coca-Cola India’s expanded product portfolio includes more beverage choices across more categories, all driven by local consumer tastes and preferences.
Speaking on the occasion, T. KrishnaKumar, President, Coca-Cola India and South West Asia, said, “Coca-Cola India’s 25th year is a special milestone for all of us and we wanted to celebrate it at the place where we started our journey from. While we continue to drive momentum for our flagship brand - Coca-Cola, we are beginning to expand our brand portfolio and make the company bigger than the brand. As we continue moving forward, 25th anniversary milestone will further strengthen our resolve to create a consumer-centric portfolio, innovate for India and build deeper connections with the consumers.”
Commenting on the anniversary, S.N Ladhani, Managing Director, Brindavan Beverages Private Limited, said, “We are proud to be one of the oldest bottling partners of Coca-Cola in India. Over the years, we have worked together with a holistic approach towards the business that reduces our environmental footprint and drives value for local communities. As we move forward together in our journey, we will continue to refresh the consumers and demonstrate strong local execution.”
