The first edition of Leadership Excellence Acceleration Program (LEAP) for Sales Managers was held in Gurgaon between 17th and 19th January, 2017. The participants included 21 Sales Managers from franchise units in India, Maldives and Bangladesh.
LEAP is our flagship intervention to build requisite mid-managerial capabilities within the FBO system. In the past editions of LEAP we have focused on business critical roles like Marketing, Market Execution, RTM and Supply Chain.
This edition has been exclusively designed by the FCS team for the FBO Sales Managers, the key drivers of our business. The 3 day program was designed in collaboration with BRIDGE School of Management with the intent of grooming the participants by enhancing their operational efficiencies and commercial acumen through focused functional and behavioural inputs.
The curriculum was customized basis inputs from CCI Franchise Operations team as well as FBO Sales Heads using the expertise of BRIDGE School of Management.
The program focused on the below key themes:-

- Power of Cross Functional Team Work & Building a Winning Team
- Analytical Planning For Strategy Implementation
- Managing Change
The program pedagogy included:
- Experiential/Simulation based exercises
- Team Building activities and role plays
- Customized case-studies
- Interactions with industry experts
At the Certificate Ceremony, Sameer Wadhawan – Vice President, Franchise Capability & Business Transformation shared the criticality of the role our Sales Managers play in driving the bottom line.“ You are the core of our business and we can run the business with excellence only if the core is strong and powerful. And it is to build your muscle and capability, that we have designed the LEAP program and I hope you leverage the learnings to drive success“ he said.
Anirban Dhar, better known as Onir, a National Award winning Indian Film & TV director, editor, screenwriter and producer was the guest speaker at the Certificate Ceremony. Onir has given us some gut-wrenching films like ‘My Brother Nikhil’ & ‘I Am’. Sharing his exciting journey of making films by going against the established norms, Onir shared powerful insights on how leaders should constantly challenge the status quo and think out of the box!
The first batch of LEAP – Sales received their certificates from Sameer, Onir and the Dean of BRIDGE School of Management, Professor – Bibek Banerjee.
