Wg Cdr Kamal Singh Oberh of Indian Air Force skydived from a Mi-17 V-5 helicopter flying at 7,000 ft with a 4,211.45 sq ft (391.25 sqm) flag weighing 52 kg at National Defence Academy, Khadakwasla near Pune, Maharashtra on May 29, 2016. He was able to fully deploy the flag at about 4,500 ft and safely land with it. Made of indigenously manufactured special nylon fabric, the flag measured 81 ft 3 inches in breadth and 51 ft 10 inches in height.
