Gayatri Dsouza (b Oct 9, 1962) of Bengaluru (now living in the UK) has designed an origami model of Mahatma Gandhi (and Kasturba Gandhi) that can be made from one 35 cm square piece of paper, brown coloured on one side and white on the other. The stick, spectacles and robes are fashioned from the white side, while the head, hand and legs are fashioned using a method called Colour Change, wherein the paper is turned inside out. They have been featured in the Nippon Origami Book Association.
