  Rajasthan Patrika, a daily morning newspaper published in Rajasthan, organised a mammoth road safety and traffic awareness campaign series in January - March 2016. Titled ‘Aaiye, Bachyeing Jeevan’, these events were held at seven different places across the state from Jan 13-Feb 25, 2016. A total of 2.33 lakh people took part in these campaigns – 25,000 at Chomu, 30,000 at Bandikui, 26,000 at Tonk, 27,000 at Sawai Madhopur, 40,000 at Jhunjhunu, 35,000 at Hindaun City and 50,000 at Dholpur. They comprised groups of students, youth, government employees, social workers, businessmen and general public, who first learnt the traffic rules and then took an oath to follow them.
