Aditya Mehta (b May 21, 1982), an above-knee amputee from Hyderabad, completed cycling 1,450 km from Delhi to Mumbai in six days without wearing his prosthetic limb. Riding a Merida Reacto road bike, he started from India Gate, Delhi at 7.00 am on Dec 14, 2015 and reached the Gateway of India, Mumbai at 9.00 am on Dec 20, 2015. He undertook the journey with a mission to motivate the differently-abled persons in Indian paramilitary forces.
