 As part of International Women’s Day celebrations, Air India operated the world’s longest all-woman crew flight from Delhi to San Francisco, USA on March 6-7, 2016. The non-stop flight covered 14,500 km in 17 hr. The flight was under the command of Captain Kshamta Bajpayee and Captain Shubhangi Singh along with first officers Captain Ramya Kirti Gupta and Captain Amrit Namdhari.
Besides the cockpit crew, the operation also had an all-woman cabin crew, check-in staff, doctor, customer care staff, ATC and the entire ground handling team.
