A team of eight Indian trekkers including Akash Jindal, Manisha Waghmare, Anand Bansode, Saachi Soni, Rupali Chavan, Shrikant Chavan, Anjali Kulkarni and Sharad Kulkarni climbed the 10 highest peaks of Australia in just 50 hr as part of the Aussie 10 Challenge, an expedition organised by Mission Outdoors from Nov 3-5, 2014. The team summited four peaks including Australia’s highest peak Mt Kosciusko (2,228 m) on the first day and completed the remaining five on the second day and the 10th peak on the third day.
