Fullerton India Credit Co Ltd, a leading non-banking financial company (NBFC) in the country, has conducted two annual cattle care camps titled ‘Pashu Vikas Day’ as part of its CSR activities to promote livelihood opportunities among underprivileged communities in 2014 and 2015. The first such camp conducted simultaneously across 115 Fullerton India branch locations on Nov 21, 2014 had more than 22,000 cattle treated on a single day.

The second edition of Fullerton India Pashu Vikas Day was held simultaneously at 190 branch locations covering 250 villages across nine states on Nov 21, 2015. Over 40,000 cattle availed free checkups, medicine and vaccinations at these camps. The farmers were also offered expert advice for increasing the yield of their milch animals. The event was conducted with the support of several veterinary doctors and JK Trust besides 2,500 volunteers from Fullerton India.
