A successful Operational Finance Manager is one who can create and execute a strong finance execution within the OU Cluster or Corporate to drive growth and profitability.

Deliver insights based on understanding of the consumer, customer, competitive and economic landscape and identify opportunities in the market. Chart out the financial strategy & journey for the India Business based on the emerging trends and shifting profit pools.

Influencing the key stakeholders, through sustained and effective engagement with the Senior Leadership / Owners to drive alignment & execution of Strategic Projects, negotiation of value sharing arrangements and control over ongoing Operations.

Work as agile resources with the CBO, SWA, FBO Leads

What You’ll Do for Us

  • Partner with senior leaders and CFO to manage all Customer activities at the Cluster level, to drive alignment across multiple senior stakeholders, and to develop the key insights needed to inform strategic priorities.
  • Manage bottlers and customer relationships
  • Gain insights and brainstorm with customers/Bottlers on business issues; Prepare & support internal stakeholders on on-going negotiations
  • Rebate and deduction negotiations with external parties
  • Set spend objectives and requirements (joint planning with bottlers / customers)
  • Set rebate and deduction strategy, manage financial negotiations
  • Quantitative and qualitative Bottler/Customer info
  • Assess Financial implications and models on new route to market and optimization of current value chain (use of third party, plant closure)
  • Manage all Business Models and Margins within the OU/Zone/Franchise, including:
  • Strategic thinking on business models optimization and system top line growth
  • Assessment and segmentation by market (Fixed vs hybrid vs incidence)
  • Incidence Pricing 2.0
  • Execute Margin optimization strategy across the entire value chain
  • Margins center of excellence across the system
  • Bring margins discipline to operational business decisions
  • Set, track and be accountable for margins objectives
  • Leverage the network and execute locally Global margin strategy
  • Set the mechanism for inter franchise movement of goods, pricing and transshipment protocols in case of multi-bottler scenario in a country
  • Support Mergers & Acquisitions and Revenue growth Management:
  • Support Operation Finance Lead in M&A analysis and assessment
  • Support financial implementation of new business models
  • Support Financially all RGM initiatives
  • Support work on pricing strategy and objectives
  • Provide Financial input into new product / service development process
  • Analyze and Execute Working Capital and Cash Management :
  • Analyze Working Capital (CPS/SC/OU) for Optimization
  • Interact with stakeholders and influence
  • Role model the “Leadership in the Network” definition
  • Provide holistic understanding of business performance inside the OU/Zone/Franchise,
  • Execute end-to-end business planning inside the OU, working cross functionally inside the organization and coordinating with the Operations Finance Lead
  • Use a fact-based, analytic, strategic approach to collaborating across OU
  • This role is responsible for partnering internally as well as externally to effectively drive financial outcomes, as well as to build alignment on key initiatives and metrics, with a focus on communication to: Zone/Franchise GM , Operations Cluster Heads of the OU Chief Customer and Commercial Leadership of the OU, OU Category GMs, Franchise Units + Key Regional Stakeholders and Other OU leadership teams
  • Individual Contributor Role however works heavily on the Network Model
  • Managing the key stakeholders – Multiple Franchise Bottlers through effective interaction with their Finance and business teams

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • >7 years of leadership experience in senior financial planning, commercial finance or financial accounting roles
  • Extensive management experience, with ability to work in a diverse cultural environment as a highly efficient communicator and influencer at all levels
  • Mastery of Influence and Communication, Knowledge and Insights, People Leadership, Strategic Thinking, Advanced Technical Skills
  • Broad expertise in Risk management, Agile ways of working, enterprise-wide / transversal initiatives, portfolio strategy and flexibility
