Toned milk

Toned milk is one variety of liquid milk which is produced by standardizing the fat content and the other soluble solid content of the milk. Toned milk in India is required to have minimum 3% fat and the minimum solid not fat (the total soluble solids excluding the fat) to 8.5. It is generally prepared by the milk manufacturers using a combination of cow and buffalo milk.

Sugar

Sugar or sucrose is a nutritive sweetener, which is used to sweeten our beverages and it provides calories. In India sugar is mostly made from sugar cane.  One gram of Sugar or sucrose provides 4 Calories (Kcal).

Milk solids

Milk solids are the total soluble milk component present in milk powder, liquid milk.

Cocoa Powder

Cocoa Powder is the powder extracted from Cacao plant and Cocoa Powder is widely used in beverages, chocolates, cakes, pastries, ice creams. Cocoa Powder is a light brown colour powder and it gives the taste of chocolate to the beverage.

Stabilizers (469, 407)

Stabilizers Carboxymethyl Cellulose and Carrageenan are added in beverage to provide the desired texture, consistency and mouthfeel.

Nature-identical flavoring substances

Nature-identical flavoring substances means substances chemically isolated from aromatic raw materials or obtained synthetically; they are chemically identical to substances present in natural products intended for human consumption, either processed or not. They are added to provide the characteristic taste to the beverages.

Banana Puree is made from the processing of Banana fruits.

Water used in our beverages is purified through a multiple process of purification so that the quality of water conforms to the packaged drinking water quality as specified by Food Safety and Standards Authority of India.
