Neeraj Garg is the Chief Executive Officer of Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages (HCCB) Pvt. Ltd - one of India’s top FMCG companies with revenue in excess of INR 9,789 crores. HCCB is an ecosystem of 30 lakh retailers; 3,500 distributors, and 2.5 lakh farmers. It employs 6,500 people directly and manufactures its portfolio of more than 60 products at its 15 factories spread across the country. HCCB is the country’s second most followed FMCG company in the social media space.

Neeraj is based at the company’s headquarters in Bangalore.

Before taking over as the CEO of HCCB, Neeraj was the President of the West Africa business unit of The Coca-Cola Company, based in Lagos, Nigeria.

Neeraj joined The Coca-Cola Company in India in 1994 and held a variety of leadership roles both with the company and its bottling arm – BIG (Bottling Investments Group). During his tenure in China, Neeraj was franchise general manager for Shanghai. In 2011, he became a vice president at Coca-Cola India and South-West Asia business unit, responsible for providing franchise leadership to HCCB. That was followed by a role as vice president of the South West Asia Region and the General Manager of the juice business.

In 2015, Neeraj relocated to Istanbul as general manager for the Caucasus and Central Asia Region before becoming general manager, New Growth Portfolio in 2018. He was responsible for leading and maximizing the profitable development of new-growth platforms and future-ready capabilities in this role.

Before joining The Coca-Cola Company, Neeraj worked with Procter & Gamble India for six years in several roles. He holds an MBA from the Faculty of Management Studies at the University of Delhi and a mechanical engineering degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University.
