Kaladera community steps forward to appreciate Coca-Cola operations

In an unprecedented move, the local residents of Kaladera and neighbouring villages have come forward to appreciate the Citizenship activities undertaken by the company.

The local management of Coca-Cola bottling plant located at RIICO Industrial Area, Kaladera, near the Indian desert State of Rajasthan’s capital Jaipur, has been supporting a range of projects in line with the Company’s policy of strengthening the local communities. These initiatives have benefited thousands of local residents and include rainwater harvesting projects in Kaladera, construction of water tank at Anoopura, rejuvenation of an old bawadi at Anoopura, a series of weekly ‘Mother & Child’ health camps at Kaladera, donation of tri-cycles for the physically challenged people of Govindgarh block, donation of sewing machines for young widows of the area, merit-cum-means scholarships to girls in local schools and support to local farmers.

The communities have spontaneously responded with an overwhelming display of appreciation for these efforts and we are proud to be able to become their “Partners in Progress.”
