Though company’s products are not very energy intensive, company has been working in direction of reducing energy consumption at all its manufacturing operations.
Since inception of energy management program in 2001, Company’s energy Consumption has improved from 0.79 MJ /L in year 2000 to 0.76MJ/L in year 2006.
Following are some of the energy conservation practice being followed across the locations to conserve energy:
- Create Awareness on energy conservation.
- Appointment of energy coordinator at each manufacturing locations.
- Use of energy efficient pumps.
- Use of energy efficient lightings.
- Maintain and operate energy generating and consuming machines at highest efficiencies levels.
