Select bottling operations (Pune, Wada, Bhubhaneswar, Bhopal, Ludhiana, Amritsar, and Nabipur) have implemented “Vermicomposting” to treat organic domestic waste generated in canteen.

In the process, microorganisms and worms turns raw organic matters into stabilized product, which is known as vermicompost. The compost is rich in nutrients. When used in garden , it improves soil structure , texture, aeration and water retention. It also helps in proper pH balance of the soil and healthy root development in the plants.
