BAIF
BAIF, earlier known as The Bharatiya Agro Industries Foundation, a secular, non-political and professionally managed organization, was established in Pune by Manibhai Desai, a trusted disciple of Mahatma Gandhi. BAIF is one of the largest NGOs working in India.
BAIF's mission is to create opportunities to gainful self-employment for rural families especially disadvantaged sections, ensuring sustainable livelihoods, an enriched environment, improved quality of life and good human values. BAIF has been promoting sustainable livelihood in rural India through conservation of natural resources, which is closely linked with biodiversity and clean environment. The organization aims to achieve this goal by tackling the root causes of poverty, namely unemployment, underemployment and depletion of natural resources. These initiatives benefit over 2.5 million families spread over 45,000 villages. With this rich experience over the last four decades, BAIF has taken up environmental awareness for children as an important initiative across the country.
Partnership
Coca-Cola India has partnered with BAIF under their iniaitvies for environmental awareness among children. A 40-minute animation film about the environment titled ‘Our Environment- Let Us Protect It’ was produced in English and Marathi. The film is intended to be a substitute for a standard classroom session and teaches children about the environment and the solution to the current crisis it is in. The film has been widely acclaimed and shown at over 15000 schools over the country engaging over 7.5 million children. A Hindi version of the film is also in the pipeline which shall reach another 20,000 schools.

UN-HABITAT
The United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-HABITAT) is the United Nations agency for human settlements, established formally in 2002. It is mandated by the UN General Assembly to promote socially and environmentally sustainable towns and cities with the goal of providing adequate shelter for all. UN-HABITAT has partnered actively with the business community to ensure successful and sustainable urbanization. UN- HABITAT’s focus in India is on Water and Sanitation. The organization recognizes that the problem of providing clean water and sanitation are especially acute and critical in Asia and has committed itself to supporting efforts to achieve water related Millennium Development Goals. In India, UN-HABITAT has programmes related to urban poverty alleviation and sustainable housing development. Apart from these programmes the organization has several sanitation and clean water projects across the country including the states of Madhya Pradesh and West Bengal.
Partnership
Together with Coca-Cola India, UN-HABITAT has developed clean water and sanitation projects in the Indian states of West Bengal and Madhya Pradesh and also in Nepal, under the “Water for Asian Cities” programme. The project in Madhya Pradesh aims to promote rainwater harvesting in 16 schools across the state. In West Bengal, UN- HABITAT has partnered with the West Bengal government to provide clean water access and sanitation to the urban poor with a special focus on schools and schoolchildren. In Nepal, UN- HABITAT has established a ‘Partnership for Safe Water’ campaign with the local government, creating a unique
public-private model in Nepal. The campaign also aims to promote sanitation and clean water access in urban and peri-urban areas.

SOS Children's Villages of India
SOS Children’s Villages of India is a non-profit, non-government, voluntary organization, committed to the care of children in need and to strengthening families and communities as a preventive measure in the fight against abandonment and social neglect. The aim and objective of the SOS Children’s Villages of India is to help parentless and homeless children by giving them a family, home and a strong foundation for an independent and secure life. SOS-India is a member of SOS-Kinderdorf International, operational in 132 countries. The first SOS Children’s Village was established in 1964 at Greenfields, Faridabad, Haryana, and the organization has expanded rapidly since. Today, there are 40 SOS Children’s Villages including facilities for Tibetan children and a new village coming up at Mumbai, 122 allied projects such as Kindergartens, Schools, Social, Medical, Vocational Training Centres and Outreach Initiatives spread across the country reaching out to over 15,000 children.
Partnership
Coca-Cola India has established partnership with SOS for rainwater harvesting structures in 40 SOS villages across the country. The structures aim to provide a sustainable source of water for the village which typically houses more than 200 children and another 100 individuals. These structures would not only help sustainable sources of water but also generate substantial awareness about water conservation within the village and helps the children grow up with knowledge about the importance of environmental conservation.

FORCE
The Forum for Organized Resource Conservation and Enhancement (FORCE), is a Delhi based NGO, with an objective to create awareness about natural resources and ensure adoption of measures to prevent their depletion. With water as a focus, FORCE works towards making communities ‘Water Secure’. The organization adopts a unique four-way partnership approach with government and local leaders, communities and corporates to offer end-to-end support to citizen groups interested in adopting water conservation practices. Despite being a very young NGO, at just 3 years old, FORCE has successfully created awareness about water in 175 localities and schools, identified areas for policy and technology change through seminars and research studies and implemented 70 rainwater harvesting structures in Delhi and the National Capital Region. This has created a strong network of Resident Welfare Associations and corporates that are actively propagating water conservation and recharge measures.
Partnership
FORCE has been an important ally of Coca-Cola India in spreading awareness about water conservation and building rainwater harvesting systems in the Delhi and NCR region. FORCE has employed their expertise in reaching out to the community and getting them involved in water conservation. The ongoing partnership has established over 100 RWH structures in nearly 25 residential communities across National Capital Region of Delhi. Partnership has also helped maintain over 150 RWH structures over last 3 years and has conducted workshops, forums/seminars for the concerned Resident Welfare Associations to build their capacity in maintaining the structures as well as create a support system to exchange knowledge and ideas.

SAVE THE CHILDREN
Save the Children is the leading independent child rights organization that fights for children's rights and delivers immediate and lasting improvement to children's lives worldwide. Save the Children was founded in 1919 by Eglantyne Jebb, as a response to the condition in Europe immediately following the First World War. Eglantyne Jebb had drafted the Geneva Declaration of the Rights of the Child, which was adopted by the League of Nations. The UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, adopted by the United Nations in 1989 and now ratified by nearly all countries worldwide, has its roots in her pioneering work. Save the Children a federation of 28 members with similar vision, mission, and values for children, works in more than 110 countries to form a truly international movement for children. Save the Children has existed in India since the pre-Independence days. Save the Children, Bal Raksha, Bharat is the 28th independent member of the International Save the Children Alliance. The organization is working on 5 core issues in 12 states and union territories and has reached over 3 million children across India .
Partnership
Coca-Cola and Save the Children have come together and pooled the resources to embark upon the project of reconstruction of schools damaged by the floods in the district Araria of Bihar State. Through Public Private Partnership, with the involvement of local Government at district level the NGO has started reconstruction of five schools in Raniganj block with focus on sanitation.
