The joy on the faces of Cancer afflicted children knew no bounds when Coca-Cola-Sri Lanka associates visited them with a Christmas & a New Year gift in their hands at the Cancer Hospital in Mahargama in Sri Lanka.

Each & every employee participated whole heartedly to the cause & contributed beautiful gifts for each & every child in the Hospital. Over 200 gifts were given and a special contribution of 100,000 rupees was also made to the hospital trust for the welfare of the children.

Adding to the Christmas & New Year festivities, the entire event was celebrated with great pomp and gaiety with Coca-Cola associates playing games, singing and dancing along with the children at the hospital. The children played and danced with the Santa Claus and the whole celebrations were marked by carols, cakes, candles & decoration of Christmas tree.

Basil Gadzios, Country Manager Coca-Cola Sri Lanka, congratulated all the associates for their overwhelming support to the cause and also shared that it was very heartening to see children enjoying with Santa Claus. There is no better way to celebrate Christmas & New Year than with these children. The entire hospital ambience was brimming with joy with children rejoicing in their celebrations completely oblivious to the pain they are coping with.
