Advisory Council for Environment & Sustainability (ACES)
In addition to India Advisory Board, Coca-Cola India has set up an Advisory Council for Environment & Sustainability (ACES) to help and
guide the company to preserve, protect and enhance the environment. The ACES shall also ensure that the company
uses its resources and capabilities to provide active leadership on environment related matters relevant to its business.
 General V.P. Malik (Retd):
General Malik is the Former Chief of Indian Army, a force of over 1.1 million
people. He oversaw intensified anti-terrorist operations in Jammu and Kashmir
and North East India. He was awarded the Ati Vishista Seva Medal in 1986 as
well as the Param Vishista Seva Medal, the highest national award for distinguished
services in India in 1996.
He is a member of the National Security Advisory Board and Honorary Advisor
to the Centre for Policy Research, New Delhi.
Dr. Saleem Romani
Dr. Saleem Romani is a former Chairman, Central Ground Water Board (Ministry of Water Resources, Govt. of India) where he played an instrumental role for effective governance of Groundwater development. Dr Roomani has authored more than 50 scientific papers with credit of a new diagram (used as Romani diagram) for geochemical study of water and a new method for optimum yield from large diameter wells.
Prof.Subash Chander
Former Head of the Hydrology Department -IIT Delhi. Is currently an advisor to the Government of India in the
prestigious project of Linking of Rivers in India. He is also an advisor to the Government of Andhra Pradesh in the
field of water conservation.
Dr. Mrs. Vimala Ramalingam
Is the Chairperson of the Indian Red Cross and brings with her deep reach and efforts of Red Cross to benefit the
Council efforts in varied sections of the society.
Mr. Vishwanath Anand
VISHWANATH ANAND, retired IAS, former Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Environment & Forests Government of India, held various important assignments in his distinguished career with Indian Administrative Service from 1965- 2002. As a special Secretary, he was working as Director National River Conservation Programme and Chairman of Genetic Engineering Approval Committee. Post retirement, he served in a quasi judicial statutory body National Environment Appellate Authority (NEAA) as its Vice Chairperson (NEAA is a statutory appellate authority hearing appeals against environment clearances given by the MOEF). He also held eminent positions such as Appellate Authority (AA) of the Genetic Engineering Approval Committee (GEAC) of the Ministry of Environment & Forests (MOEF) Government of India and first Chairperson of National Biodiversity Authority(NBA).
Dr. M K Ranjitsinh
Is a retired officer from the Indian Administrative Service of Madhya Pradesh Cadre. Having spent his entire career in the flaura and fauna of the country's most "covered" state, he brings with him rich experience of creating fine balance of ecological growth while enhancing the commercial pursuits.
