At Coca-Cola India, we have always believed the sustainability of our business is dependent upon the sustainability of the communities we serve and have therefore undertaken a series of activities for the benefit of communities and the well being of the planet. Sustainability of water resources and the protection and preservation of environment, remain our key areas of focus. We are partnering with leading national and local NGOs, central and state government departments to undertake projects that support healthy watersheds and sustainable community water programs.

Occasions like World Environment Day (WED) provide us with an opportunity to reaffirm our commitment to sustainability. As always, this WED the Company and our bottling partners are undertaking a series of water stewardship and environment protection projects. These projects will also take us closer to our goal of groundwater neutrality by 2010.
